Digital Media and Business Skills for Vulnerable Groups

Internet Society Armenia Chapter which has been actively involved in helping people with economic and social difficulties, is currently organizing a “Digital Media and Business Skills for Vulnerable Groups” project. It provides seminars in computer and internet literacy, social media marketing, business planning and implementation. The project will engage vulnerable groups by helping them acquire new skills and new opportunities to walk in parallel with technological developments. The program brings together people with disabilities, retired athletes, retired engineers and technical community representatives, as well as young people with no higher education to add fresh ideas and energy to the program. After the above mentioned courses students will attend business courses, which will be conducted by Business Support Center specialists. Upon completion of the seminars, participants will form groups around business ideas, work on its implementation with the support of BSC specialists and create online platforms and marketing strategies with the help of social media specialists.
