– expulsion of members for non-payment of membership fees
– approval of the Chapter activity and property usage report form.

November 23, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. Armenia Chapter submitted the intermediate report on the “Internet literacy for vulnerable groups” project.

November 13, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. ISOC Armenia Chapter subscribed to 2021 ISOC Fundamentals Program with Lianna Galstyan as a program coordinator and Kristina Hakobyan as a backup program coordinator.

November 4, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. ISOC AM Board members Igor Mkrtumyan, Lianna Galstyan, Anna Karakhanyan,and Katarina Gevorgyan participated in the fourth quarter European Leaders Chapters call.

September 8, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia.The application for the 2020 – Chapterthon Programme has been accepted by the Internet Society.

September 6, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia.The application for the Armenian School on Internet Governance (ArmSIG) has been accepted by the Internet Society.

August 29, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. An application for the Chapterthon 2020 programme, named “Internet access and digital skills for vulnerable groups in rural areas during COVID19 epidemic”, was submitted to the Internet Society.

August 28, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. Armenia Chapter’s Board meeing took place, where an application for the Chapterthon 2020 programme, named “Internet access and digital skills for vulnerable groups in rural areas during COVID19 epidemic”, was considered, approved, and recommended for presenting to the Internet Society.

August 10, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. Internet Society 2020 Small Grants Programme has approved the Armenia Chapter project “Services and Internet connection for used computers donated to schools within the framework of COVID”.

May 15, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. Internet Society Armenia Chapter Board meeting took place, where the Preident report on 2018-19 activity report was presented and approved. The Board decided to call the General meeting, where the President and Board members will be elected for the next 2 year period, on the 29th of May.

May 10, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. Internet Society Armenia Chapter had successfully submitted the “Internet literacy for vulnerable groups” program interim report.

April 30, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. The Social Media Marketing course of “Internet literacy for vulnerable groups”program provided by Ani Dallakyan had sucsessfully finished.

April 23, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. Internet Society Armenia Chapter and Armenia Internet Registry (ISOC.am), in cooperation with ITU, organized an online webinar entitled “Overcoming Digital Challenges” within the framework of #GirlsinICT. The invited experts talked about the digital, educational and business challenges created under COVID-19 and about the technologies and digital tools that can be used to overcome these challenges.

April 14, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. The 2nd lesson of the Social Media Marketing course took place. The topic was “What is SMM? its need for business.”

April 11, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. Within the framework of the “Internet literacy for vulnerable groups” program, the participants were invited to think about the business idea and present a short description of their idea, answering the following questions:
– Business description
– The purpose of the business
– Product or Service Description:
– Target group – Who is it for (for example, children, adults, women, men …)
The survey will be needed to work with more practical examples in the classroom.

April 10, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. The first lesson of the Social Media Marketing course of“Internet literacy for vulnerable groups”programtook place. Course topic: Digital marketing & SMM overview.

March 25. 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. The newly opened Facebook page of Karen Matosyan’s (a participant of the “Internet literacy for vulnerable groups”program) named“HISTORICAL COUNTRY TOUR”idea was presented. Karen’s idea was one of the first in the program and could motivate other participants.

March 24, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. Program lectures, which have been postponed because of coronavirus, forced the Chapter to continue teaching in a new way, using telecommunications via the Zoom video conferencing system. Lianna Galstyan will conduct the lectures of “Internet Literacy” via Zoom video conference.

March 23, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. Within the framework of the “Internet literacy for vulnerable groups”programISOC Armenia chapter started Internet Literacy course lectures that includes the “rules” of safe and secure use of the Internet for business purposes, the basics of intellectual property, domain names and other important issues.

March 05, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. ISOC Armenia Chapter formed a team of participants in the Internet Society training program.

February 26, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. “Internet literacy for vulnerable groups”programparticipants received certificates on successful completion of the BSC’s Business Support Centermanagement course “How to setup and manage a private business”.

February 25, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. A brainstorming session was organized, where all participants of the “Internet literacy for vulnerable groups” program presented their business ideas. They were discussed. Some were supported, other criticized and changes proposed. These ideas will be the starting points for business coaches.

February 24, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. Vahan Misakyan conducted a lecture on basic knowledge in computer literacy for participants of “Internet literacy for vulnerable groups”program.Topics of the lecture: operating systems, browsers,Microsoft office.

February 13, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. ISOC Armenia Chapter announced the participation in the Internet Society training program. Lianna Galstyan was assigned the role of the coordinator. A call for participation was sent to the chapter’s member mailing list, put on the chapter’s facebook page and the chapter web page.

February 3, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. ISOC Armenia Chapter Board meeting took place where the Internet Society training program was discussed. The Board planned to participate in the program, announce it and select applied members.

January 19, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. ISOC Armenia Chapter started the “Digital Media and Business Skills” part of the “Internet literacy for vulnerable groupsprogram”, which will provide participants the basic knowledge in business planning.

January 18, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. ISOC Armenia Chapter completed intervewing and choosing participants of the “Internet literacy for vulnerable groups“ program.

January 17, 2020. Yerevan, Armenia. ISOC Armenia Chapter submitted the 2019 Beyond the Net Small Grant “Lecture course “Introduction to RINA, the Internet of Tomorrow”” report to the Internet Society.
