Sharing the mission and vision of the global Internet Society, our organization implements a wide range of programs in Armenia aimed at promoting Internet development.
The goal of the Internet Society Armenia Chapter PO is to support the advancement of the Internet and contribute to the technological progress of the country.
Established as an independent organization, Internet Society Armenia Chapter PO was officially registered with the Ministry of Justice in 2018.
From 2007 to 2018 the ideological partner of the global Internet Society in Armenia was the “Internet Society” NGO, which also served as the national domain name registry.
In 2017 the global Internet Society restructured its legal relationships with partner organizations worldwide. As a result, a new, independent organization – the Internet Society Armenia Chapter – was officially registered in Armenia as a public organization (PO).
