Sharing the mission and vision of the global Internet Society, the Internet Society Armenia Chapter started implementing projects boosting the Internet development in Armenia. The Internet Society Armenia Chapter is to serve the Armenian Internet community and provide leadership in addressing key issues about the roles and usage of Internet.
How to become a member
To become a member of the “Internet Society Armenia Chapter” NGO you should be over the age of eighteen and be a member of the “Internet Society” non-profit organization, and if you are:
1) a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, or
2)a citizen of foreign country, or a stateless person having economic interests in the Republic of Armenia *;
To become a member of the “Internet Society Armenia Chapter” NGO, read the Charter of the organization, fill in the application(DOC , PDF) and submit it along with the necessary evidence (documents) defined by the Charter of the organization to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once approved, you will be notified and be ready to pay the membership fee of 1000 (one thousand) AMD via bank transfer within 10 (ten) working days. For the second and further calendar years, the annual membership fee must be paid by March 31 (inclusive) of the given calendar year.
