The annual workshop of Armenian registrars, “Regiton” was held for the first time in a conference format this year, on June 21 in Yerevan, with the participation of international experts.
The conference titled “Empowering .am and .հայ Domains,” was organized by the Internet Society NGO, the Manager of .am and .հայ domains in collaboration with the Internet Society Armenia Chapter PO, with the support of the Internet Society Foundation.
“With the support of our international and Armenian partners we are introducing innovations in the field. Our goal is to foster the development of both the .am and .հայ domains, as well as to advance the domain industry as a whole,” said Kristina Hakobyan, Board Vice Chair of the Internet Society NGO.
Regiton-2025 brought together representatives from government, private sector, and civil society, along with local and international experts. Through thematic discussions, participants examined current challenges and developments in the field.
