The results of “Wiki.հայ” anniversary competition have been finalized

This year’s “Wiki.հայ” competition, organized annually in collaboration with “Internet Society” NGO and “Wikimedia Armenia” NGO, was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of .am and the introduction of the Internet in Armenia.

The goal of the competition is to enrich the internet with Armenian content. This year, the focus of the content created for the anniversary was on the internet and the domain sphere, highlighting local and international figures, organizations, concepts, and events that have made significant contributions. As a result, around 100 articles have been written and published on the online encyclopedia “Wikipedia” over the past two months.

The results of “Wiki.հայ” were announced at the solemn ceremony marking the 30th anniversary of .am and the “Internet Society” NGO. Seven editors from “Wikimedia Armenia” were honored with awards in four categories, based on content areas. The awardees included Arshaluys Ayvazyan, Armine Aghayan-Flish, Slava Sahakyan, Ani Grigoryan, Mari Avetisyan, and Emily Meliqyan.
