The non-governmental organizations Wikimedia Armenia and the Internet Society are launching a new wiki initiative – the “World After the Dot” Edit-a-thon.
The edit-a-thon will take place from November 1 to November 30, 2025.
The goal of the project is to enrich and expand the Armenian Wikipedia with information related to domain names and associated topics. Participants will work on articles covering both country code top-level domains (ccTLDs) and generic top-level domains (gTLDs).
Throughout the edit-a-thon, participants are invited to create or improve articles from the suggested topic lists.
Awards:
- 1st place: 30,000 AMD and a certificate
- 2nd place: 20,000 AMD and a certificate
- 3rd place: 10,000 AMD and a certificate
In addition, five outstanding editors will receive certificates in recognition of the quality and quantity of their contributions.
The results will be announced on January 15, 2026, in celebration of Wikipedia’s birthday.
