The Global Internet Society, an organization dedicated to building a free and secure Internet and uniting 130 partner structures worldwide, regularly informs the public about its partners’ initiatives through various formats, including monthly reports.
In its October report, the organization showcased projects from about 45 partners, among them two projects implemented by the Internet Society Armenia Chapter PO.
As part of the annual Armenian School on Internet Governance (ArmSIG2025), the Internet Society Armenia Chapter organized two events on October 11 in Goris, Syunik region:
- “Digital Safety from an Early Age”, aimed at fostering safe online behavior among children;
- “Digital Transformations of Libraries: Building Community Internet Centers”, focused on strengthening libraries’ technical capacity, training staff and introducing digital services.
The events brought together more than 35 librarians and teachers from Meghri, Sisian, Goris, Kapan and neighboring communities of the Syunik region.
