The Armenian-speaking voice assistant “Anahit” can turn on and off lights and other electrical devices, as well as comprehend and carry out a variety of directions supplied in Armenian.
It was installed at the House of Culture for the Blind’s Smart Room with the goal of enhancing the technology and simplifying life for those who are blind or visually impaired.
“Anahit” was developed in the context of the two-month “Internet of Things” course, which was run by the non-profit organization “Armenia Sector of the Internet Society” in collaboration with the non-profit organization “Smart City” and with financial support from the Russian Federation through UNICEF.
