An extra layer of protection for .am is DNSSEC

DNSSEC is only supported by 64% of country domain names (ccTLDs) globally. Among them is Armenia’s national domain, .am.

Traffic redirection and the detection of fraudulent DNS data are prevented in the .am domain because of this extra security measure. It keeps fraudulent websites from operating, shields user accounts from assaults, and raises the standard for Internet security as a whole.

DNS converts IP addresses or computer numbers into domain names that are registered with alphabetic characters, such isoc.am. This makes it possible for every Internet communication to begin with a DNS lookup.

A method for assuring the security of the international Internet and validating trustworthy data sources is DNSSEC. created to offer a higher degree of protection. In order to avoid traffic redirection and interception, it is used to confirm the legitimacy of Domain Name System (DNS) data.
