“Encryption: The Key to a Secure Internet” Capacity Building Meeting of Global Encryption Day 2025

We invite students from secondary vocational and higher education institutions in the IT sector, as well as early-career professionals, to participate in the Global Encryption Day event.

The event is initiated by the Internet Society Armenia Chapter PO and is supported by the Internet Society Foundation.

The meeting will take place in Yerevan on September 26. (Registered participants will be informed of the exact time and location in advance.)

Participants will have a unique opportunity to engage in discussions with leading IT specialists on the following topics:

  • The Role of Encryption in Internet Security, National Cybersecurity, and Data Protection
  • How Encryption Works: End-to-End Encryption, Public/Private Keys and Real-World Applications (e.g., messaging platforms, VPNs, etc.)
  • Encryption in the Private Sector: Challenges and Innovations

Special Panel Discussion
“Balancing Privacy and Security: Can Encryption Be Regulated by Law?”
Featuring representatives from the government, private sector and academia.
