Artificial Intelligence: A Tool for Human Creativity – Training Course Held in Jermuk

In 2024, the United States led the development of new artificial intelligence AI tools, creating 40 AI tools throughout the year. During the same period, China developed 15 AI tools, while Europe produced only 3. However, China has made significant progress in the past 6 months, creating and publicly releasing 40 new AI tools.

Despite increasing competition and the emergence of new tools, ChatGPT remains the most widely used AI platform, both globally and in Armenia.

This fact was also highlighted during the training held in Jermuk on April 26.

“This fast-paced tool, when used correctly, can assist humanity in organizing everyday life more easily and quickly, expanding professional knowledge and even learning new skills. The first step to using ChatGPT or any other tool effectively is to approach it boldly and purposefully,” noted Yelena Harutyunyan, SMM Specialist at ISOC Armenia.

According to her, at this stage of AI technology development, a person’s knowledge base and professional skills are more important than ever. This is because every output created with AI tools – whether it’s text, images, video series, data science results or something else – remains a part of an individual’s creative work and requires verification and refinement.

During the course participants were practically introduced to the importance of instructions given to AI tools. The speaker demonstrated how the quality of results produced by the same tool can vary significantly depending on how the textual instructions are worded.

Internet Society NGO`s SMM Specialist Harutyunyan introduced participants to ChatGPT as a powerful platform for organizing daily life, fostering professional growth and even acquiring new skills. She also provided information about other AI tools, highlighting their operational significance.

The training was an initiative of the “Internet Society Armenia Chapter” PO and the “Internet Society” NGO, held within the framework of the “Girls in ICT” international campaign.
