Community Networks: Connecting the Next Billion summit

The Internet Society, in partnership with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, organised the Community Networks: Connecting the Next Billion summit. The conference brouth together European business, civil society, donors and EU policymakers to discuss three main issues:

  • The technical issues surrounding community networks
  • Leveraging public and private investment into these types of local networks
  • Creating the right regulatory and policy environment to support those initiatives in Europe.

Internet Society Armenia Chapter President Igor Mkrtumyan participated to #CNsummit2019.
