The Internet Society, in partnership with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, organised the Community Networks: Connecting the Next Billion summit. The conference brouth together European business, civil society, donors and EU policymakers to discuss three main issues:
- The technical issues surrounding community networks
- Leveraging public and private investment into these types of local networks
- Creating the right regulatory and policy environment to support those initiatives in Europe.
