Girls in ICT Day: Cyber Hygiene

International Girls in ICT Day is one of the ITU – the UN specialized agency for information and communication technologies events, this year was celebrated on 25 April, 2019.

For this day, Internet Society Armenia Chapter organized an informative seminar on Cyber Hygiene or how to stay Safe in the Internet. The seminar took place at the N.174 school of Yerevan, Armenia.

The event hosted schoolgirls, their mothers and teachers to get informed about Internet Security issues and principles. The head of UCOM Information Security Department Karen Gasparyan was the guest speaker representing the most common cyber attacks, dangers, issues and solutions for avoiding them and staying safe.

Young participants were active in their questions.
