Igor Mkrtumyan established and fortified his professional capabilities through polytechnic and linguistic education pursued in both Yerevan and Moscow. He strengthened his professional background through roles at the Research Institute of Mathematical Machines in Yerevan and subsequently at the American University of Armenia. Since 1994, Igor Mkrtumyan has served as the Board Chair of the “Internet Society” NGO and as the founder and President of the “Internet Society Armenia Chapter” PO.
