Partial technical upgrades have been implemented in the Syunik Regional Library, the libraries of Nrnadzor and Agarak communities, Meghri School N. 1, Meghri School N. 2, and the Sports and Cultural Center. Internet Society Armenia Chapter (Armenia Chapter) PO has supplied these organizations with a total of 8 computers, 2 WiFi routers, digitized libraries and digital library management program.
Internet Society Armenia Chapter PO carried out this initiative with the financial support of Vladimir Mkrtumyan.
“This is deeply meaningful to me, not only as a tribute to my great-grandfather, Boris Mkrtumyan, but also as an effort to bring Internet access and digital education to his birthplace, the Meghri border region,” said Vladimir Mkrtumyan.
The initiative aims not only to improve educational opportunities for local residents but also to stand as an inspiring example of social responsibility for future generations.
