Internet Society is a global organization uniting 121 active partner organizations worldwide. It implements critical initiatives aimed at ensuring the Internet remains open, secure, and accessible. These efforts are carried out across local, regional, and global levels.
According to the Internet Society, a total of 133 training courses were conducted in 2024. Additionally, community networks were established and operated to broaden Internet access.
A total of 161 grants were awarded to 57 partner organizations, aimed at addressing Internet-related challenges, advancing the digital economy and fostering collaboration to protect online privacy.
It is worth noting that our organization, “Internet Society Armenia Chapter” PO, undertook five projects last year with funding from the Internet Society, one of which is still in progress.
Armenian initiatives have contributed to expanding Internet access, enhancing digital literacy and strengthening online security.
